  • We are seeking casual administrative support to assist our CLO, Research and Legal teams.

    Previous experience with FNLRS through internships or the digitisation process, or experience in similar roles, will be an advantage.

    About the Role:

    • Maintain FNLRS' Traditional Owner contact database.

    • Organise and provide logistical support for Traditional Owner group meetings.

    • Manage paperwork (invoices, TA payments) related to meetings.

    • Answer, screen, and forward calls from Traditional Owners.

    • Assist with FNLRS mail distribution to various groups.

    • Other administrative tasks as needed.

    Pay Rate:

    • $36.10 per hour (which includes the 25% casual loading). This is Classification Level 1.1 (refer to Schedule 1 of the Enterprise Agreement).

    Requirements:

    • Great attention to detail and ability to draft/produce written materials.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders in a respectful and friendly manner.

    • Commitment to and understanding of Victorian Indigenous culture and community.

    Availability:

    • Commencement in April/May.

    • Casual position, requiring 1-3 days per week with flexible scheduling.

    • Occasional weekend travel to regional meetings may be required for assistance with IT setup, welcoming and potentially minute-taking.

    Equipment:

    • Laptop with internet access is required.

    • Work will primarily be conducted from home.
