Terry Atkinson is an Aboriginal man with ties to Taungurung, Wemba Wemba, Boonwurrung, Wiradjuri and Kurnai Country.

His professional experience spans government, Traditional Owner corporations and community organisations. As the former Chairperson of the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation, and senior roles at the Council and at Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, and through his own consultancy, Terry brings expertise in strategic leadership, governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Terry takes a culturally-grounded approached to leadership and has deep community connections, and a strong understanding of the evolving landscape in which FNLRS operates.
