Our research team provides highly informed insight into Traditional Owners' connection to Country through primary anthropological and historical research. 

While it is the ongoing presence and cultural resilience of Traditional Owner communities that makes a settlement possible, the State seeks a robust demonstration of a Traditional Owner group’s traditional and cultural association to particular country that is supported by anthropological and historical research. Our historians and anthropologists work to assist Traditional Owner groups to meet the State’s requirements.
